Right at the start of the tour, the Rüfikopf cable car gains 900 valuable meters in altitude. At an altitude of 2,350 m, the most challenging stage of the Arlberg Trails begins. With a view towards the Rüfispitze, the trail first descends slightly above Lake Monzabon into the Ochsengümple. At the Rauhkopfscharte, you cross the border between Vorarlberg and Tyrol. With a view of the Stuttgarter Hütte at 2,310 m and the fantastic mountain scenery of the Arlberg, you head towards your lunch break. This is followed by a descent to the Erlachalpe at 1,922 m, before another steep climb through the hidden cirque to the Knoppenkar. From there, it is only a few meters of elevation gain to the Vallugabahn I mountain station, with a great view towards the stage destination of St. Anton am Arlberg. The Vallugabahn I and Galzigbahn cable cars take you down 1,300 meters of elevation. Please be sure to note the operating hours of the cable cars and start this tour as early as possible!
