Accessibility Statement for the Website lechzuers.com
Basis of Statement
Lech-Zürs Tourismus GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) and the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327, 2 December 2016, p. 1). This Accessibility Statement applies to the website https://www.lechzuers.com/de and was conducted by MASSIVE ART WebServices GmbH as part of an accessibility audit on 26 June 2025.
Compliance Status
This website is not fully compliant with the 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1' and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible Content
The following content is currently not accessible as it does not comply with the
harmonised standard EN 301 549:
- Some pages contain images without proper alt text, making navigation via screen readers difficult. We are continuously working to resolve this and provide accessible alternatives for all media displayed.
- Some pages include 'iframe' elements without labels, making navigation via screen readers difficult. This issue is being addressed directly by our development team to ensure accessibility.
- The restaurant detail page contains anchor controls without labels, making navigation via screen readers difficult.
- Several pages feature headings, lists and tables that are either unlabelled or contain the attribute aria-hidden, making them inaccessible to screen readers.
- The header slider on the homepage and its pagination cannot be controlled via keyboard. The titles in the header slider do not follow a correct, semantic structure.
- Invalid ARIA attribute values are present across the website, which are not recognised by screen readers and therefore not properly announced.
- Some pages feature focusable elements that are marked as decorative, as their purpose and content are deemed irrelevant to the context.
- On certain pages, there are missing subordinate elements under a parent element. This could confuse screen reader users, as content is expected but not present.
- Some pages include elements with the aria-hidden attribute, which are simultaneously focusable, making them accessible to assistive technologies despite being intended to be hidden.
- Several pages contain interactive elements whose labels are not part of their accessible name, which makes it more difficult to navigate the website via voice control.
- The focus area of the logo in the main navigation is currently not displayed at the correct size in relation to the interactive element.
- Submenu items under the main navigation currently need to be selected individually, and skipping these submenus is not possible at the moment.
- The accommodation overview navigation and text content of guides cannot be displayed or navigated correctly when zoomed to 200%.
- The control arrows for image previews, the date picker in the event overview, and the checkboxes in the newsletter form are not properly selectable via keyboard.
- The title of the event highlight on the homepage ("up-to-date") is not read in the correct focus order by assistive technologies.
- The header content is not properly readable or accessible in landscape mode on mobile devices.
- Embedded videos are not provided with audio descriptions or text alternatives, meaning that relevant visual information is sometimes not described.
- Embedded content from third-party iframes falls outside our direct control. Therefore, a full assessment of this content according to WCAG criteria is only partially possible, as outlined in the European standard EN 301 549.
Reason for Non-compliance
We are aware of these barriers and are actively working on resolving them in the coming months. Our goal is to significantly improve accessibility and ensure unrestricted use for all users, especially those with disabilities.
Non-accessible Documents
The PDF documents provided on this website are currently not accessible. This means that these documents may not be fully readable by assistive technologies such as screen readers. We are working to improve the accessibility of these documents and plan to provide accessible PDF files in the future to ensure full access to all content for all users.
