Fresh, raw, healthy and lean - that's the new cuisine at EssenZzimmer.The newly designed panorama restaurant in Lech, high above the rooftops, is loungey, cool, brightly coloured and offers magnificent views.The kitchen uses only fresh ingredients, many of which are left raw and many of which are only briefly fried. The essence of the product is emphasised. Dishes inspired from all over the world with products that are as local as possible.In summer, the EssenZzimmer is extremely versatile in combination with the other areas of our er-LEBENS-räume. Whether for internal company meetings, seminars or yoga retreats - together with the living room & library, the EssenZzimmer can be customised to suit the needs of our guests. Welcome to Haus Mathies - an establishment steeped in history is given a new lease of life and becomes the stage for a not unknown ensemble: The KITSCH team around Mâitre Andreas Aichinger and head chef Florian Karrer are looking forward to delighting and surprising you with culinary delights here in Zürs. Laissez-faire and elegance are not a contradiction in terms for us, rather we bring these two concepts down to the lowest common denominator here at the KITSCH. We don't reinvent the wheel here, we prefer to concentrate on the essentials. Because we love what we do! So you can look forward to genuine hospitality with a wink, a modern but uncomplicated style of cuisine - somewhere between alpine-regional, world cuisine and French classics - as well as exquisite food accompaniments from the well-stocked wine cellar, including the associated expertise. Our traditional, cosy Enzian Stube restaurant welcomes guests and hikers for a refreshment stop in summer from July to the beginning of September. The legendary sun terrace is the summer hotspot in Zürs with a fantastic view of the mountains. We will spoil you in our original Zirbenstube or on the sun terrace with traditional, Austrian and international specialities. Anyone who visits Gitti's dining room will quickly hear the phrase: “Let's go eat at Jakob's.” No wonder – after years of training with top chefs such as Jeff Galvin, Thorsten Probost, and Heinz Reitbauer, Jakob Strolz has found his way back to the Schmelzhof. As head chef, he now stands for modern Alpine cuisine. His talent for cooking runs in the family: his mother Gitti and grandmother Mimi were also passionate cooks. Jakob inherited not only his love of good food from them, but also a sense of preservation and development. The menu features classics such as the legendary SCA pasta alongside creative new dishes – always with a clear focus on flavor. One highlight is the Chateaubriand, one of the restaurant's signature dishes: served on a hot stone and carved right at the table, it is an experience not to be missed at Gitti's dining room.
