At the ‘Köstlicher Ring’ (Delicious Ring), gourmets embark on a culinary tour of Lech, inspired by the legendary ‘Der Weiße Ring’ (The White Ring) ski race. Under the motto ‘Terroir meets plate’, four top establishments open their doors: the culinary journey begins at Hotel Der Berghof with Austrian white wines from the Clemens Strobl winery. At Hotel Arlberg, elegant Burgundy wines from Switzerland from the Donatsch winery follow, before the characterful Bordeaux wines from Château Doyac take centre stage at the Romantik Hotel Die Krone von Lech. The finale takes place at the Hotel Gasthof Post with fine Moselle Prädikat wines from the Wegeler winery. Each course is accompanied by a matching dish – moderated by wine expert Clemens Riedl, who guides guests through the origins, soils and aromas with a keen sense of taste.

Der Weiße Ring - Das Rennen

The White Ring links the Lech, Zürs and Zug ski resorts on fantastic pistes in a spectacular setting. On 22 kilometers and more than 5,500 meters of altitude more than 1000 participants compete every year anew. And it's not just about being fast on the slopes. The time is not stopped also during the altogether 8 elevator travels. 20 athletes go together on the track and try to master the White Ring as fast as possible. Olympic champion and world champion Patrick Ortlieb holds the course record with an incredible time of 44min 45sec.
Absolutely unique is the mixture of folk ski races and party atmosphere, which fascinates spectators and participants every year and creates a special atmosphere at the whole Arlberg. No matter whether you are a professional sportsman, ex-racing driver, hobby sprinter or pleasure skier, everyone can master the challenge The White Ring - The Race and be proud of his achievements.

The White Ring - The course
The course of the race runs along the legendary ski route and leads through the villages of Lech, Zürs and Zug. The race traditionally starts at Rüfikopf. Directional gates have been set up along the entire route, which must be adhered to until the end.
