Best places to take a photo of the Omeshorn

Even though the Omeshorn is clearly visible from everywhere, there are of course a few places from which you can take the most beautiful pictures of the Omeshorn. One of the best spots is right in the center of Lech—on the bridge between Sporthaus Strolz and Hotel Arlberg. In addition, the district of “Spitzenegg” towards Oberlech, as well as Flühenweg near Bernhards stable, are also ideal for taking the perfect souvenir photo of the Omeshorn.

Around the Omeshorn: "Weißer Ring" and "Grüner Ring"

The Omeshorn is located in the center of the Lech Zürs am Arlberg vacation region. It's no wonder that there is a circuit around Lech's local mountain in both winter and summer. In winter, our guests circle the Omeshorn on the most legendary ski circuit in the Alps – the "Weiße Ring". In summer, they walk around the 2,557-meter-high mountain peak on the "Grünen Ring".

Tourto the summit of the Omeshorn

From time to time, the summit cross on the Omeshorn shines down on the village. At this point, the question arises: how do you actually get to the Omeshorn? In summer, a blue-marked trail leads over the ridge to the top. Blue markings mean: difficult mountain trail, no fear of heights and sure-footedness required. In winter, the summit cannot be reached – caution: danger of avalanches!
