Arrival by car

Please note that winter tyres are mandatory in winter. We also recommend that you take snow chains with you, as snow chains are often mandatory on pass roads after snowfalls.

Motorways in Austria are subject to tolls. Vignettes are available at border crossings, petrol stations, post offices, tobacconists, your automobile club and Lech Zürs Tourismus. The current prices for motorway toll stickers can always be found at asfinag.at/toll/vignette.

The establishments in Lech and Zürs offer their guests sufficient parking facilities. In addition to the hotel’s own underground car parks and parking spaces, public parking is also available:

Parking garage Rüfiplatz (for a fee)
Parking garage Anger (for a fee)
Day parking Schlosskopf (for a fee)

The parking of caravans and other mobile accommodation is prohibited in the municipal area of Lech Zürs. In the holiday destination Vorarlberg there are designated camping and parking spaces for caravans.

The road into the Zugertal towards Spuller- and Formarinsee is closed for private traffic from 8.00 to 16.30 o’clock from the mouse position Zug. The toll for motorcycles and cars outside the closing times is € 20.00. Buses and coaches are not permitted. Please use the Lecher local and hiking buses for trips into the Zugertal. A toll is payable for all passengers who travel to the rear of the Zugertal with the local and hiking bus without a Lech Card.

Arrival by train and regional buses

“A Railjet will take you to the Arlberg every two hours from Vienna. For early risers, the Railjet connection with departure at 5:30 am from Vienna is ideal. Already at 10:55 you reach St. Anton and can even enjoy half a day of skiing. The next trains depart at 7:30 or 9:30. And if you get on the Railjet at the end of your holiday at 17:03 in St. Anton, you will already be back in Vienna at 22:30 free of stress and traffic jams.

 

From Germany:
In the winter season there is a direct Railjet from Munich to the Arlberg on Saturdays. Departure from Munich is at 14:30 and already after 3 hours of travel you arrive at the Arlberg. You return at 9:37 from Langen or 9:48 from St. Anton.

 

From Switzerland:
From Switzerland to the Arlberg you get directly every 2 hours. Passengers who take the Railjet at 6:40 from Zurich arrive in St. Anton at 9:01 and can experience a whole day on the piste. For those who enjoy it, the Eurocity “Transalpin” leaves Zurich at 8:40 a.m., where you can admire the magnificent mountain scenery in the first-class panorama car on arrival. The return journey starts at 8:57 from St. Anton in 2 hour intervals.

 

Railway station Langen am Arlberg: 15 km away | regular taxi and bus connection (line 91) | transfer time approx. 20 minutes

Train station St. Anton am Arlberg: 20 km away | regular taxi and bus connections (line 92) | transfer time approx. 30 minutes

Enjoy maximum comfort when travelling with ÖBB. If you wish, ÖBB will pick up your luggage before your departure and bring it directly to your destination. More information can be found at www.oebb.at

Numerous connections lead from Vorarlberg & Tyrol at regular intervals to Lech Zürs am Arlberg. In the village itself you can take the local bus for skiing or hiking. During the night you can use the bus transfer James (with a fee). With the James buses you can travel between Lech – Zürs – Oberlech and Zug until the early hours of the morning.
