Local transport

On the bus, you can sit back and relax, enjoy the views and get around the local area without needing your own car. The Lech local bus will take you, as usual, to all parts of the town and to numerous attractions. In winter, travel on the blue local bus is included in your ski pass; in summer, it’s included in the Lech Card. The timetable is flexible and tailored as closely as possible to visitor numbers.

You must pay for your bus ticket when travelling on routes 720, 750 and 760. From now on, you can pay for your ticket on these routes using a debit card, credit card, smartphone or smartwatch. Further information can be found on the details page.

As per usual, the Ortsbus Lech bus service will transport you to all districts and to the excursion destinations. The bus timetable is flexible and optimally adapted to the frequency of guests. 

With these measures in place, we will try to ensure that safe distances are properly maintained while boarding the buses at the bus stops.

Please be aware that all dogs must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash on all Ortsbus local buses.

Please ask your accommodation provider for the current timetables in a handy pocket format. Timetables are also available at the tourist information and in many restaurants.

James is your chauffeur through the night. From around 7.30 pm to around 2 am, the blue James night bus is responsible for your local mobility. It connects the districts of Oberlech, Stubenbach, Zug, and Zürs at convenient intervals. James tickets can be purchased directly from the bus driver for € 9. Season tickets cost € 74. James also runs according to a fixed schedule.
