The crater of our largest gypsum pit here in the nature reserve is an incredible 35 metres deep. Can't quite picture it? Then try it out for yourself.
What you need to play:
- only your legs, nothing else

game instructions
Tip
Now try to imagine the following: the diameter of the largest sinkhole is a whole 100 metres! How far would you have to walk to cover that distance?! And what exactly is a sinkhole?
Sinkhole
Have you ever heard the word Sinkhole before? This is often mentioned in connection with gypsum holes, and simply put, it means: A sinkhole is like a hole in the ground that extends deep into the earth like a funnel or shaft. The rim at the top is usually round or oval. You can find more information about sinkholes and gypsum holes here.
