Breathtaking views

The Rüfikopf panorama mountain in Lech Zürs

The Rüfikopf cable car mountain station at 2,350 metres is the starting point for the first hiking stage of the Green Ring. The trails towards the Wösterspitze and Rüfispitze mountains, the Stuttgarter Hütte mountain hut or the peak of the Valluga also start at the Rüfikopf.

The sun terrace and the 360° viewing platform offer an unforgettable view of the Lech mountains. Every Thursday in July and August, the Panoramarestaurant Rüfikopf offers a morning pint with live music. Every Friday there’s an exclusive sunset journey with sparkling wine reception or a panorama Fondue evening at sunset. Every Sunday there’s a mountain breakfast with panoramic views.

Strolling at the Rüfikopf mountain

Walkers will find ideal, wide-open conditions at the Rüfikopf mountain. From here, a varied hike leads walkers from the mountain station at the Rüfikopf to Monzabonsee lake. Nearby, climbing enthusiasts can make the most of the newly equipped crag, which is ideal for children, families and beginners. On the specially created “Geoweg Rüfikopf trail,” interested visitors can discover the origins of the Rüfikopf massif.

Every Wednesday, cable car employees provide a peak behind the scenes during the “Rüfikopf cable car discovery trip.” Kästle, the Arlberg ski brand, has created a place here to showcase its eventful history. Visitors can check out the Kästle Mountain Museum free of charge at the mountain station of the Rüfikopfbahn cable car.
