Combining Landscapes and an alpine lifestyle:

Mountain summer in Lech Zürs 2025

From 12 June to 5 October 2025, Lech Zürs is all about a mountain summer that strikes a chord – Truly. Naturally. Authentic. A season full of deep insights, encounters and inspiration.

Lech Zürs am Arlberg, 10 June 2025: From sporting adventures and leisurely long-distance hikes to the magic of mountain huts and a think tank, a summer for all the senses is here to behold in Lech – clear, full of sound, brimming with culture. And all that remains is this quiet feeling of having been in the right place at the right time.

A summer retreat with depth. Mountain summers in Lech Zürs am Arlberg go one step further. From 12 June to 5 October 2025, a season that offers more than just a break takes flight between the Alpine landscape and a genuine attitude to life: it is an invitation to take a deep breath, to arrive and to look ahead. Clear mountain days. Long summer evenings. And a place where you don’t just go on holiday, but where you find home.

A hiking summer like no other. Whether exploring a wild and romantic river valley or an Alpine ridge, or enjoying a poetic themed trail or challenging hut tour – Lech Zürs offers hiking experiences for every sporting level. The Arlberg region is far more than just a paradise for mountain sports: it is an invitation to pause for thought, to reflect and to marvel. Every path here also guides us to ourselves.

  • The Green Ring: 15 years of imaginative hiking From its humble beginnings as a counter-project to the legendary Weisse Ring, the Green Ring is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2025. Stretching 28.5 kilometres and split into three stages, it combines Alpine landscapes with the modern art of storytelling.
  • The Lechweg trail: Europe’s high-quality trail with a new loop From the source of the Lech river to the Lech Falls, the Lechweg trail runs for 125 kilometres through three regions and two countries. Its special quality has been further emphasised since it has once again been named as a “Leading Quality Trail – Best of Europe”.
  • The Arlberg Trail: three days, five places, limitless freedom Connecting Lech, Zürs, Stuben, St. Christoph and St. Anton in three days on foot and by cable car – that’s the Arlberg Trail. Covering up to 5,000 vertical metres and new route combinations will make it even more flexible in 2025.

Summer retreats for body and soul: a forest swimming pool and golfing paradise in the heart of the Alps. At 1,500 metres, one of the highest golf courses in Europe is located in the middle of Arlberg’s natural world. The 9-hole course in the Zugertal valley allows players to take on a sporting challenge while basking in the natural surroundings. Following the wild and romantic Lechbach stream and with views over imposing peaks, the course lays the foundations for relaxed precision – ideal for golfers looking for something extraordinary. The forest swimming pool in Lech is a summer classic for the whole family. The heated outdoor pool right on the edge of the forest offers a swimming pool, children’s area, slide, rocky island and extensive sunbathing lawns. The natural surroundings offer peace and quiet while children can playfully discover the joys of water.

Numerous mountain huts along the hiking trails invite you to take a break and enjoy some refreshments – from rustic Alpine club huts and family-friendly Alpine huts to modernised pleasure spots, such as the Balmalp and the Trittalpe. Set in surroundings to maximise views over peaks and lakes, local hosts serve up regional specialities that may be down-to-earth or indeed more creative. As such, every hike is not only a sporting endeavour, but also a culinary discovery tour – because the World Gourmet Village of Lech Zürs invites you to feast and indulge yourself, even in the warm summer months. With numerous Gault&Millau toques and two two-Michelin-Star restaurants, food lovers are bound to find something to whet their appetites.
