New Year’s Concert with Bergson Phil
New Year's Concert of the Bergson Phil’
A kickoff with iconic pieces by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Strauss & Co.
Following the great success last year, the New Year's concerts of the Bergson Phil’ are back – with a new program and this time also as a guest performance in the Lechwelten!
We will exclusively kick off the year 2027 with hits. From the breathtaking overture to the opera Carmen to the heart-wrenching intermezzo from Cavalleria rusticana to the spirited Barber of Seville: The theme is iconic, timeless works that touch and immediately stick in your ear.
The program will be moderated by Maximilian Maier with plenty of humor, anecdotes, and crazy stories. Of course, the perhaps most famous waltz in the world cannot be missing: “The Blue Danube” by Johann Strauss. And by the time we get to the Can-Can by Jacques Offenbach, no one will be able to stay seated, and a lively start to the new year is guaranteed!

The Bergson Phil’
The Bergson Phil’ consists of around 25 musicians from a pool of approximately 250 Bergson Artists who come together to form an orchestra. The “Phil’” refers to “Philharmonic Orchestra.” Strictly speaking, the ensemble Bergson Phil’ is too small for a philharmonic orchestra, as they often have a hundred musicians or more. However, due to the acoustic possibilities of our hall, it has a symphonic character. Furthermore, “Phil’” translates to “friend.” And that fits well with us and the relationship we want to have with our audience.
Principal Conductor: Jesús Ortega Martínez
Our resident ensembles include, alongside the Bergson Phil’, the Jazzrausch Bigband, the Bergson Voices, and the Bergson Jazz Orchestra.
