Join us on a guided hike through the unique Gipslöcher nature reserve in Oberlech, a true natural gem nestled in the heart of Oberlech. With over 1,000 sinkholes, the Gipslöcher form one of the largest gypsum karst landscapes in Central Europe – a geological marvel and a vital habitat for diverse alpine flora and fauna.
Our hike takes you through a magical, almost lunar-like terrain, where deep sinkholes, fragrant alpine meadows, and breathtaking mountain views come together to create an unforgettable experience. Along the way, you’ll learn about the origins of this extraordinary landscape, its ecological significance, and the delicate balance that sustains this protected area.
