Der Weiße Ring - Das Rennen
The White Ring links the Lech, Zürs and Zug ski resorts on fantastic pistes in a spectacular setting. On 22 kilometers and more than 5,500 meters of altitude more than 1000 participants compete every year anew. And it's not just about being fast on the slopes. The time is not stopped also during the altogether 8 elevator travels. 20 athletes go together on the track and try to master the White Ring as fast as possible. Olympic champion and world champion Patrick Ortlieb holds the course record with an incredible time of 44min 45sec.
Absolutely unique is the mixture of folk ski races and party atmosphere, which fascinates spectators and participants every year and creates a special atmosphere at the whole Arlberg. The White Ring - The course
The course of the race runs along the legendary ski route and leads through the villages of Lech, Zürs and Zug. The race traditionally starts at Rüfikopf. Directional gates have been set up along the entire route, which must be adhered to until the end.
