The core of the Arlberg Weinberg event series is a symposium at which expert conferences and tastings on the topics of soft pruning, fortified wines and fine wine will take place from Sunday, December 10th - Wednesday, December 13th. The event will begin with a welcome lunch on Sunday, December 10th at the Hotel Gasthof Post.

After the welcome lunch, the first event of the symposium will take place. A conference on the viticulture topic "soft pruning" held by pioneer Marco Simonit (Simonit&Sirch) and Dr. Jamie Goode. Soft Pruning is a approach that causes less injury to grapevines while ensuring the buildup of important and vital wood mass resulting in healthier vines that live longer.
