Before Christmas 01. to 24. December 2023

The time before Christmas is known to be the most beautiful time. When the lights in the evening wrap the landscape in a sparkling magic, the air is filled with the smell of punch and children's laughter resounds through the streets, then the winter season is not far away. Lech Zürs am Arlberg is looking forward to the coming winter season and welcomes the cold season with a colourful Advent programme.

Musical Advent accompaniment

Already on the way to the church square you will smell hot mulled wine and hear the first sounds of Christmas carols. The community choir of the Lech Music School provides the musical accompaniment to the Advent programme in Lech.

 

 

Christmas market

At the Kirchplatz Lech you can experience the Christmas blues first hand. Straight after skiing or during your evening stroll, you can sample the delicacies of Lech's businesses. Would you like a cup of hot punch or would you like to try the famous hot whiskey sour from the Hotel Sandhof? You can also buy souvenirs and gifts for your loved ones at the Lech Christmas Market. From Nepalese handicrafts, root schnapps from Lake Spuller or bee products - the selection is extensive. And all this at the Kirchplatz Lech surrounded by the Christmas-decorated village centre, which will enchant you.

The Christ Child will also make the children's eyes sparkle again. On Sunday, 17 December, the children will be presented with goodies in a carriage on the Kirchplatz.
