NEW 2025: Summer operation of the Zugerbergbahn and Balmalp in Lech Zürs am Arlberg

The Zugerbergbahn takes you up to the mountain station at an altitude of 2,100 m in just a few minutes. The Zugerbergbahn cabins offer enough space for mountain bikes, baby carriages and people with wheelchairs, who can reach the Balmalp barrier-free from the mountain station. Once at the top of the mountain station, the Balmalp awaits you with an inviting sun terrace and a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Experience Lech Zürs am Arlberg in all its glory! Use the Zugerbergbahn for hikes along the Green Ring or for mountain bike tours through the region. It is an ideal starting point. We look forward to your visit!

Summer feeling at the outdoor bar of the Tannbergerhof - in the centre of Lech!

Whether after an extensive hike or bike tour - our cosy outdoor bar & sun terrace with a view of the lush flowering meadows below the Kriegerhorn is the ideal place for a relaxing break! Treat yourself to a cool, freshly tapped Tegernsee beer, summery cocktails or a sparkling aperitif and enjoy the sun's rays until around 7.00 pm.

Enjoy traditional and regional dishes as well as savoury classics of Austrian cuisine all day long. The sweet finish is provided by various homemade cakes, tarts and strudel as well as an exclusive selection of Kolibri ice cream flavours and lovingly prepared sundaes. And a flavoured coffee/tea from Dallmayr to go with it.

And of course you won't miss any important sporting events - whether football, Formula 1, cycling races, tennis or other events, you can always watch them live here in the centre of Lech!

Social distancing has been and still is the order of the day. But humans are social beings – shared meals among company, friends, and acquaintances strengthen cohesion. All of this can contribute to a good coexistence and help in overcoming the current challenges more easily. Moreover, shared meals create space for communication. Throughout the summer, everyone pursues their own activities, but at the village table, everyone comes together. Then it's time and opportunity to talk, share experiences, exchange wishes, address problems, and seek solutions.

Our 12-meter-long table – made of Lech spruce – heated and covered outdoors serves not only as a small summer restaurant but also as a village table.

Locals/Friends Guest Chefs at the Village Table - cook their favorite recipes - it should be uncomplicated - everyone eats together at the big village table - food is served from generous bowls - like at a big family meal. Everyone is responsible for ensuring that the person to their left and right always has a full plate and a well-filled glass. Every week on Mondays, the summer restaurant has a special theme. In order to accommodate as many locals and guests as possible at the table and allow them to be "Guests at the Village Table," many even bring their own chairs.
