„BLENDE AUF! Photography at Arlberg“

An exhibition by the Lech Museum
at Huber-Hus, Lech am Arlberg – July 6, 2025–April 11, 2027

Expanse! Majesty! Snow! Sun! Nature! Freedom!
These are just a few keywords associated with mountains and skiing. Since the beginnings of photography, there have been countless attempts to capture these feelings on photographic paper. The exhibition showcases photographs around the Arlberg. The images illustrate how photography in the alpine region and tourism has changed over time. The Lech Museum presents both the functions of photography and the diverse biographies of the photographers.

In our PHOTO LAB, you can do great experiments, discover the oldest photographic printing process, and create your own image. During the joint photo walk, you will familiarize yourself with seeing and can take your own photos. Join in!

• continuous workshops in the PHOTO LAB
• Ongoing short tours of the exhibition "Open Aperture! Photography in Arlberg"
• 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PHOTO walk (Please bring a working camera or phone for photography.)

“Destination Museum” invites families on an exciting discovery journey through 57 museums.
Entrance fee: 1 euro per person and museum.
Visitors from the relevant catchment area can travel for free by bus and train throughout the entire destination region with the "Online Free Ticket" and conveniently visit the participating museums.
