The village is idyllically nestled in a Vorarlberg high mountain pasture at an altitude of 1,750 m. The high altitude is also responsible for the fact that Oberlech glitters in brightest white from November to May. In spite of guaranteed snowy conditions, the area is one of the sunniest in the Arlberg. Famed for its sunny plateaus, this is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed lunch or a refreshing drink after spending quality time in the mountains.
