The information office and all employees of Lech Zürs Tourismus GmbH look forward to your visit. We have prepared carefully for your arrival. The office is open from 08:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. You can also reach us by telephone during the lunch break if you need something urgently. Please be aware that the counter at the information office is equipped with Plexiglas partitions. There are also floor markings that indicate safe distances and the number of visitors allowed inside at one time. We ask you to please wear personal protective equipment (i.e. a mask or similar) in the information office.
Safe Hospitality COVID-19 CAMPAIGN
The federal government and the federal states are taking extensive measures to support tourism and position our region as a safe holiday destination. As part of these measures, all employees of commercial accommodation establishments have been allowed to undergo preventive testing for the pathogen SARS-CoV-2 since the beginning of July. These tests were extended to other divisions in August and continue to take place every week in Lech. To protect our guests, Lech Zürs Tourismus GmbH supports this campaign, which has been carried under the banner of “Safe Hospitality.”
Prudent behaviour will help protect you, other guests and your accommodation provider. In order to ensure proper safety in the accommodation facilities and during the Lech recreational programme, everyone is requested to follow the rules of conduct consistently. Therefore, we ask you to pre-register this summer for all activities included in the Lech Card as well as all additional programme items. Dr. Rhomberg’s office, Dr. Beiser and Dr. Muxel offers antibody tests. Your test result will be available within half an hour, which you can pick up directly at the practice.
PCR – Tests
Information from the Landessanitätsdirektion (Provincial Sanitary Directorate): Persons with symptoms should contact 1450 only by phone for testing for COVID19. Registrations for tests without symptoms are possible at www.vorarlberg.at/coronatest.
Restaurants and bars
When it comes to restaurants and bars, general rules apply such as maintaining a safe distance, hygiene, and following the instructions of the staff. We ask you to please follow these guidelines. Keeping a safe distance is a sign of mutual appreciation. Visiting a restaurant should be as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible for you. A member of staff will accompany you to your seat.
Our goal is to make your stay at one of our accommodations in Lech Zürs as pleasant as possible. Out of respect for your health and the health of our accommodation providers, we will not shake hands. Please rest assured, however, that we are nevertheless pleased to welcome you! This summer, we will have to make due with a different form of welcome, which we consider appreciative and which protects our health. The general rules of conduct also apply here: keep your distance, wash your hands multiple times, etc. To ensure safety, numerous precautions will be taken in various areas of the respective operations, such as the wellness area, fitness room, childcare areas, etc.
Summer cable cars
Everyone here in Lech Zürs is quite pleased that the cable cars will once again be operational this summer. To this end, the generally applicable rules should also be observed here. In addition, personal protective equipment (mask or similar) is mandatory during the entire cable car ride. The protective mask can be removed after the ride, but please dispose of it properly and do not leave it in the gondola.

Sports & leisure facilities
So that you can safely enjoy all our sports and leisure facilities during your mountain summer holiday in Lech, please observe the rules of conduct when visiting the sport.park.lech and the new forest swimming pool. As in other situations, the hygiene regulations and generally applicable rules, such as keeping a minimum distance of 1 metre, are extremely important. If everyone sticks to the rules, nothing stands in the way of a fabulous sports and leisure experience.
For the community of Lech, Lech Zürs Tourismus and local businesses, health and safety are paramount. That’s why we want to make our summer events as safe as possible for you, while still offering you enough culture, cuisine and entertainment for a memorable holiday. Here too, it is important to observe the generally applicable rules and to respect one another. For each event, we will develop a virus-prevention concept and will clearly communicate the respective safety rules.

Information for tourists

While on holiday, please continue to observe the generally accepted distance and hygiene rules as diligently as you would at home. We recommend that you wear a face mask covering your mouth and nose whenever you are in a place where you cannot keep a minimum distance of one metre to people around you. Masks are mandatory in cable cars, on public transport, groceries and supermarkets.
If you are feeling unwell or experiencing one or more symptoms of Covid-19, such as a fever, cough, sore through, shortness of breath, inflammation of the upper respiratory tract or sudden loss of your sense of taste or smell, please call the healthcare hotline on 1450. They will advise you.
Please also contact your accommodation provider.
If you have been ordered to take a Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2 test, you will have to remain inside your room or your holiday lodgings until you receive the results. Normally, results are available within 48 hours. Limit all contact with others as much as possible.
If you test positive for Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2, the health authorities will decide on the next steps. In most cases, you will be ordered to self-quarantine in your accommodation. This is mandatory. People infected with the coronavirus may only travel back home on dedicated patient transportation sent from their home country. Please contact your hometown or embassy in Austria.
Visitors whom the contact tracing system identifies as contacts of an infected person may travel home in their own car without stopping. They must not return on public transport (aeroplane, bus, rail).
