The Huber-Hus was built in 1590 and has housed the Lechmuseum since 2005. The fourth LECHSCHRIFT, published by Birgit Heinrich, provides exciting insights into its eventful history.
Klaus Pfeifer traces the architectural development. The creation of building age plans was carried out by Raimund Rhomberg. Birgit Heinrich dedicates herself to the former residents. Sonja Prieth highlights the phase in which the Huber-Hus was used for tourism and rooms were rented to guests. The rich imagery of this publication makes clear which people and circumstances contributed to the residential house eventually becoming a museum and brings the past to life with numerous original sources and historical photographs.
