Concert Federspiel "Brass music detached from expectations"

22.08.2025

As an artistic heavyweight with feather-light compositions in its repertoire, the ensemble has long been performing on major concert stages around the world. Their performances have taken them from Scandinavia to Egypt and from the USA back to the beautiful Wachau region. In hundreds of concerts, from the Elbphilharmonie to the Vienna Konzerthaus, from Stanford University to rustic taverns, Federspiel has developed its own musical language, balancing tradition and modernity, and has established itself as one of the most innovative ensembles on the European brass music scene.
