Look forward to Mathea live in Lech: With her well-known hits and new music, the Austrian pop artist brings her unmistakable sound to the Winter RE:WIND in Lech. The 27-year-old Mathea from Salzburg has become one of the most successful artists in Austria in a very short time and has also established herself equally well in Germany. With her debut single "2x," she stormed the charts at just 20 years old, collected gold and platinum awards, and was named the most listened-to artist in the country, even though she initially released neither an album nor an EP.
Her success led to nominations for prestigious music awards, such as the 1LIVE Krone and the Amadeus Award (music award in Austria), which she also brought home.
Mathea is not only musically successful. In addition to music, she has built her name with campaigns for “Tezenis,” “Maybelline,” “H&M,” “Prada Beauty,” as well as “Dyson.” With the founding of her own label "1998," she opened another pathway in the music industry.
Already in 2021, Mathea was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Austria list at the age of 23.
Last year, she focused on writing and producing her upcoming second studio album, which is currently in the release phase. After "Boomboompow" and "Pfeil und Bogen," she is now starting the next chapter of her musical journey with her new single "Einfach nichts."
