With over one million copies sold, Bernhard Aichner is among the most successful German-speaking thriller authors. His books have been translated into 16 languages, and his "Totenfrau" has been successfully adapted for Netflix, with two seasons ranking in the top 10 in 67 countries worldwide. Aichner, who also writes novels, crime stories, screenplays, and plays in addition to his thrillers, was born in 1972 in East Tyrol and now lives with his family in Innsbruck. He has been awarded numerous prizes for his work, and the Times describes Aichner's writing as "original, powerful, and captivating".
