Local transport – plenty of ways to get around without your own car
During your stay in Lech Zürs, the blue local bus is a convenient alternative to your own car. It connects the various parts of the village and takes you to numerous starting points for your activities. In summer, hiking buses take you to selected trailheads in the Arlberg mountains. The Lech Card also includes all open summer cable cars in Lech Zürs and Warth, use of the local bus, a trip to the Zug Valley, and other services.
In winter, use of the local bus during the day is included with your ski pass. From around 8:00 p.m., a night bus connects the different parts of the village into the early morning hours, ensuring a comfortable ride home even after a long evening.
Travel in comfort with the hiking bus
Make use of the comfortable hiking buses to reach the starting points of your hikes or to return to Lech after a walk. The blue Lech local bus connects the districts of Lech, Zug, Oberlech and Stubenbach, as well as – depending on the route – Warth, Schröcken and Elbigenalp. Take a trip to the idyllic Zug Valley to Spullersee or Formarinsee, which was voted ‘Austria’s most beautiful place’ in 2015.
Lech Card
With the Lech Card, guests enjoy numerous included services in summer. These include use of the open summer lifts in Lech Zürs and Warth, rides on the local bus, the bus connection to the Zug Valley, as well as regional bus connections to Warth, Hochkrumbach, and into the Lech Valley as far as Elbigenalp. Not included is the bus journey toward St. Anton/Langen am Arlberg (yellow post bus).
