Reading enriches and fills the heart and mind – which is why the Sonnenburg has been a literature hotel since 2016. However, books have had a special significance here for much longer: an appreciation of literature permeates every aspect of the hotel: in libraries, at readings, through book boxes in all rooms. Sonnenburg has now taken the next step in texture: in the gourmet restaurant ‘Textur’, the basic human needs for physical and spiritual nourishment are interwoven.
Unique dishes and unique texts come together in ‘Textur’ to create a delicate menu: six courses spread over ten chapters become an unforgettable overall experience. Unexpected and surprising, each course transports you to its own world of flavours. It tells a short story that complements the others while also having its own character.
