The history of the Ravensburger Hütte hut

Generations of hikers have relished taking a break at the Ravensburger Hütte. The Alpine Club hut was built in 1912 and has subsequently been extended three more times. (1958-1959, 1974-1976, 2009)

As part of the most recent extension works, particular attention was paid to fitting modern furnishings that reflect classic mountaineering accommodation, so that you can enjoy a real hut experience combined with today’s comfort.

The “DAV Sektion Ravensburg” is the proud owner of the hut and Thomas Eder is an enthusiastic host who will be happy to share various tips with you.

The hut features two cosy parlours where both dinner and breakfast are served. The tiled stove provides cosy warmth and comfort – even in the evening. There is also a small library where you can discover key information about the local area, summits, tours and crossings.
