With SUMMER FRESHNESS - A Contemporary Alpine Summer , curious – creative space Lech opens the first summer exhibition of 2026 and dedicates itself to the alpine summer as a cultural, artistic, and emotional space of experience.

The exhibition brings together works by Garda Alexander, Florian Appelt, Michèle Caspers, Lukas Janitsch, Stefan Knopp, Antonio Labuhur, Victor Mangeng, and Melanie Thöni.

An exhibition of the Lech Museum
at Huber-Hus, Lech am Arlberg – July 6, 2025 – April 11, 2027

Vastness! Elevation! Snow! Sun! Nature! Freedom!
These are just a few keywords associated with the mountains and skiing. Since the beginnings of photography, there have been countless attempts to capture these feelings on photographic paper. The exhibition showcases photographs surrounding the Arlberg. The images illustrate how photography in the alpine region and in tourism has changed over time. The Lech Museum presents both the functions of photography and the diverse biographies of the photographers.

Opening hours:
Thursday to Sunday 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Summer: July - September
Winter: December - April

Storyteller and Picture Workshop with Tine and Martin Baltscheit

"I see something that you don't see." I My Most Beautiful Summer Vacation Dream

We come up with something and paint it out. The storyteller and picture workshop with Tine and Martin Baltscheit takes place at Sonnenburg and is aimed at children aged 4 and older, as well as their companions – parents, friends, and family members are warmly welcomed.

Start: 9:00 a.m.
End: 12:00 p.m.

Registration is possible at events@sonnenburg.at or at the Sonnenburg reception.

For guests of the Sonnenburg Hotel and Restaurant, participation in the workshop is free of charge. If your child only participates in the workshop, the participation fee is €25.00 (per child). You can pay the amount directly at the Sonnenburg reception before the event.
