Road closure at Madloch

Due to construction work in the Madloch area, there will be restrictions this summer on the route between Madlochjoch and Gstütalpe. To ensure your safety, the descent from Madlochjoch to Zug, as well as the ascent from Gstütalpe towards Madloch, are closed until further notice. The ascent to the summit of the Omeshorn is exempt from this restriction.

We request that hikers on the “Grüner Ring” Trail or the “Arlberg Trail” take note of the closure and use the signposted alternative route. This provides a scenic route via Stierloch to Zug or along the ”Lechuferweg” trail to Lech, where you can enjoy a wonderful mountain experience away from the restricted area.
