Mountain railway Lech Oberlech

The mountain station of the Bergbahn Oberlech cable car is the starting point for hikes to the “gipslöcher” (gypsum holes”) nature educational trail, the Kriegerhorn und Mohnenfluh mountains as well as a variety of activities along the “Der Grüne Ring” (“The Green Ring”) trail.

Arlenzauberweg trail: take a closer look at the wonders of nature. On the stunning hiking trail leading from Bergbahn Oberlech mountain station to the Rud-Alpe, over 20 stations provide a fascinating look at what makes the local flora and fauna so remarkable.

WELCOME to the WALDHOF WELCOME to Lech-Zug You'll find yourself in the middle of our wonderful nature. Zug is a quiet and romantic location, in a 2,5 km distance to the centre of Lech. At night you can use the bus service “James” with an all night ticket for € 4,-- between Lech-Zug-Zürs-Oberlech. The distance to the bus-stop is 60 m. With the bus you get easy to the lifts in Lech, the ski-school and to all the shops. For your car we have a parking by our house.

Welcome to an altitude of 1,750m At other places you have to take an uphill ride, at Mohnenfluh Hotel you´re right in the middle of a fantastic mountain panorama. Relaxed but pleasant walks amidst a varied nature start on our doorstep. Follow well-marked trails and get safely back. If you just want to relax our big sun terrace is perfect for you. "You can do everything, but you must do nothing", that´s the mottoe of the Mohnenfluh hotel. The bus stop of the local hiking bus is in front of our hotel. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Breakfast can be enjoyed by our guests from 07:30 to 10:00. Substantial and healthy. From fresh bread and pastries, crunchy muesli, hearty sausage and cheese specialties, yoghurt and fruit jams. Here you will find everything your heart desires.
In winter we serve small delicacies in the afternoon – homemade apple strudel, cakes or savoury snacks.
