Mountain railway Lech Oberlech

The mountain station of the Bergbahn Oberlech cable car is the starting point for hikes to the “gipslöcher” (gypsum holes”) nature educational trail, the Kriegerhorn und Mohnenfluh mountains as well as a variety of activities along the “Der Grüne Ring” (“The Green Ring”) trail.

Arlenzauberweg trail: take a closer look at the wonders of nature. On the stunning hiking trail leading from Bergbahn Oberlech mountain station to the Rud-Alpe, over 20 stations provide a fascinating look at what makes the local flora and fauna so remarkable.

The Haldenhof is for the connoisseurs of winter sports and also those who know how to enjoy a summer holiday. A hotel that combines family tradition and five star hospitality.

Haldenhof is a 4-star family hotel with 26 individually styled rooms; cosy lobby with open fire place and bar; restaurant offering fine dining and nice Austrian wines; little spa with sauna, steam room, aroma therapy, Vitality pool & massage to relax after a long day of skiing or hiking. The “Haldenhof guest family” is very international – once we have been celebrating Christmas with guests from 17 nations.

Very special is the atmosphere – throughout the house you will find a fine collection of art works (carefully collected and framed over years by Mr.Schwärzler sen.). Each piece has its own little history. Very Special is his collection of engravings of Angelika Kauffmann (1741-1807) – who was raised close to Lech in a little village called Schwarzenberg. From there she went to Italy (Como and Milano), then to London where she was one of the founding members of the “Royal Academy”. Old imprints and engravings of hunting scenes along with carefully selected fabrics and frequent refurbished and modernized rooms make the Haldenhof the ideal location for a holiday in Austria.

Not only in winter Lech and the Haldenhof are famous – summer is very attractive as well.

Culinary we will spoil you with daily changing menu´s. Our head chef does stand for austrian kitchen in combination with interanational influences out of his experiences travelling the world. Also our wine cellar does present a travel through our austrian wine culture.

Appartements Gstüat

The house "Gstüat" is an old farm house with a long tradition and special atmosphere.
In the Summer we are surrounded by large fields, a few steps away from the forest swimming pool and in winter at the end of the Madloch ski slope, directly at the cross-country ski run.

Our house is situated in the quiet and sunny part of Lech called “Omesberg”, at the feet of the “Omeshorn”.

To the centre of Lech it is only a five minute walk or a short trip with the shuttle bus (in winter). We are not only well situated at the end of the “Madloch” ski slope, we are also a starting point for a wonderful walk to Zug or the “älpele”.

In the summer, you walk a few minutes to the swimming pool of Lech and for the young guests we have a playing ground with swings and a slide beside our house.

A separate room for your ski equipment with heated skiboot-storage and parking places are at your disposal.
