An awareness of sustainable thinking has always been a priority in Lech: The Lechwelten Convention Center is an expression of concrete action in this regard. Over 90 percent of the suppliers are from Vorarlberg and they’ve sourced 100 percent of their building materials from Europe. The heating for the building is generated 100% by Lech's biomass heating plants. In addition, a very high level of heat recovery has been achieved, both roofs are landscaped, and a controlled ventilation system ensures a pleasant climate, regardless of the weather.
