On Wednesday the Lech Card takes you on an exciting geoway excursion.

Today‘s alpine landscape was once the home of mussels and primitive squid-like creatures. What once rested under deep blue water, rose up onto the imposing peak that towered over a massive sheet of ice. So the Geological Circuit invites you on a fantastic journey – as you pass „stonelike witnesses“ on the way through the milenia. Discover the secrets of a world that gives us a peek into different dimensions of time. Walk through a grandiose alpine „stone garden“ in which magnificent flowers and herbs create fascinating contrasts to the rock and in which the lake Monzabonsee is embedded like a sparkling diamond.


When: Friday
Meeting point: 09:45 a.m. in front of the Rüfikopf cable car valley station
Duration: approx. 3 hours
Equipment: For the hike we recommend ankle-high mountain boots with a profiled sole.

The Lech Card themed hikes start on Monday with the herb hike.


The certified herbalist and hiking guide Veronika Walch will take you into the fascinating world of Lech mountain herbs. Together with Veronika, you will experience nature with all your senses. Stroll over meadows and gain knowledge about herbs and medicinal plants. In our wonderful Lech mountain landscape, many herbs grow that hold true secrets. During the herb hike, Veronika will share stories and customs surrounding the herbs, their effects, and their applications.

Equipment: For the hike, we recommend good footwear with a patterned sole or trekking shoes.

Bad weather:
Even in bad weather, we offer a herb experience! The alternative program takes place in the herb workshop Lech. Together, we will produce herbal products such as herbal salt or balm.
