Art Saw and Art Alpine Zug
Monday, June 22 to Friday, September 4, 2026
Throughout the summer, the Rote Wand transforms. It becomes a workspace, a thinking space, and a place for exchange – a spot where new works are created and ideas grow. Not as a supporting program, but as a lively part of the summer.
Artists come together here to continue projects, begin new endeavors, or develop site-specific works. They are united by a sensitive interest in landscape, geography, and the questions of our coexistence. Established positions meet young perspectives, well-known names encounter new discoveries. This diversity is what gives the program its special appeal.
The artistic approaches are varied: Some work with classical media such as painting or sculpture, while others engage in research, text-based, or conceptual explorations of their themes.
In this context, the finished work is not the focus, but the process itself. An open working state that becomes visible and invites visitors to directly experience the creation of art.
