Lichens and Mosses

Lichens and mosses alone encompass several thousand species in Austria, of which the least are known. Their great potential in healing, natural cosmetics, household, and even in culinary uses is largely untapped.
The all-day workshop offers a fundamental overview of the structure and groups of lichens and mosses. We will get to know and identify selected species commonly found in Central Europe, explore various possibilities for their use, and process them into interesting remedies for health, natural cosmetics, and household.

Location: Herb Workshop Lech
Duration: Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Costs: € 150.00 (including script, identification key, excursion)
