The plant family of umbellifers

is considered particularly difficult and includes many species that are completely unknown today but are often very interesting in folk medicine and culinary uses.
The all-day workshop offers a fundamental overview of numerous important representatives that we will work on together in theory and practice. We will also address the often-forgotten medicinal uses of certain species and create interesting recipes with umbellifers from folk medicine together.

Location: Herb Workshop Lech
Duration: Friday, July 31, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lichens and mosses alone encompass several thousand species in Austria, of which the least are known. Their great potential in healing, natural cosmetics, household, and even in culinary uses is largely untapped.
