Literary Enjoyment Under Summer Mountain Skies

Günter Keil - one of the most influential literary journalists in Germany - is a guest at Stäfeli every summer!

In collaboration with the Tyrolia bookstore in Bludenz, he presents the most exciting new book releases.

On July 17, 2026 , Günter Keil will present to you fifteen different summer books. Enjoy a summer afternoon filled with poetry and find your personal summer book.

Every year, we look forward to inspiring discoveries, personal book recommendations, and true summer reading - in a relaxed atmosphere at Stäfeli. Registration directly at the hotel or just come by spontaneously!

Readings

This summer, in addition to the well-known literary events, we are pleased to present two new formats in collaboration with Helga Reder from the Tyrolia bookstore in Bludenz:

On August 22, 2026 we are delighted to welcome Marlene Kilga with her crime novel "Death Comes to Vorarlberg" at Stäfeli. The reading will last about 45 minutes - afterwards, there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas with the local author in this personal setting.

We are happy to accept registrations directly at the hotel or in writing via email. We look forward to your presence!

Murder Mystery Dinner

This summer, our popular Murder Mystery Dinner takes place for the fourth time. Winemaker and author, Andreas Wagner, will read from his new crime novel "Winzergrab" on
July 31, 2026.

The reading takes place as part of a murder mystery dinner.

We take breaks now and then to maintain the tension - and to serve one delightful course after another. Excitement, enjoyment, and entertainment are guaranteed!

RÜFIKOPF PANORAMA RESTAURANT & 360° VIEWING PLATFORM

The Rüfikopf Panorama Restaurant with its wonderful sun terrace serves lots of traditional Austrian delicacies such as Kaiserschmarren (a sugared shredded pancake with raisins) or Brettljause (cold meats and cheeses). Marvel at the magnificent views over the Arlberg area from the viewing platform at over 2,350 metres.The Rüfikopf is the starting point for the first stage of the Green Ring to Zürs, the Geoweg Rüfikopf trail and also lots of other hikes. Alternatively you can relax by the Monzabonsee lake. The Kästle Museum is an option in bad weather.

Further attractions at Rüfikopf are a viewing platform with a 360° panoramic view and the Geoweg.
