The "Schattahalb" tour starts in Stuben in the direction of Langen, past the Stubner See'le. After about 2 km, the trail leads from the hiking trail onto the former road (only asphalt from here to the Nenzigasttal junction) past the Langen train station in the direction of the S 16 expressway junction. The road must be crossed here (beware of the traffic) and then goes past the little chapel - turn left here in the direction of the road maintenance department and then through an underpass onto a road. From then on into the Nenzigasttal. From here moderately uphill to the Nenzigast Alpe. Return along the same path.

Turn-by-turn directions

The tour starts in Stuben on the walking path "Schattahalb" in the direction of Langen, past the Stubner See'le. Sturdy shoes (ankle-high), clothing appropriate for the weather, rain & sun protection, cell phone for emergencies, possibly hiking poles (especially for the descent), enough liquid & possibly small mountain snack.
