Best of the Alps

Since more than 25 years, Best of the Alps captures this particular spirit by uniting 13 of the most remarkable destinations in the Alps – Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Courmayeur, Crans-Montana, Davos Klosters, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Grindelwald, Kitzbühel, Lech Zürs am Arlberg, Megève, Seefeld, St. Anton am Arlberg and St. Moritz. Their enduring charm and authentic style evoke a strong sense of place, identity and freedom of thinking that inspires people to recognise the Alps as a place with great potential to pursue their dreams.

Pristine nature and some of the most spectacular mountains – the Arlberg, Dolomites, Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and the Mont Blanc – that can be counted amongst the world’s major cultural sights, provide the common ground for the Best of the Alps destinations.
Since their offical discovery by climbers and adventurers during the Golden Age of Alpinism, they have served both as a backdrop and as a catalyst for visionary thinking.

Cosmopolitan in its approach yet deeply rooted in the rich history of each destination, it draws from the pioneering spirit of their ancestors. Starting out in meek settlements farming alpine pastures centuries ago, they have always relied on their resourcefulness and their vital bond with nature. It was through their tireless efforts and perseverance, and their groundedness that had them cultivate a sustainable way of life and a thriving community which keeps producing exceptional leaders, entrepreneurs, craftsmen, traditional farmers and sports champions alike.
