Alexandre Reider is an artist from Brazil and is exhibiting his works of art at Raiffeisenbank Lech this winter until 24 April 2020. The works in his exhibition show scenes of the Lech Zürs am Arlberg region in different seasons and are based on photographs and outdoor studies taken by the artist during his visits to the Arlberg.
Walking along the paths along the river bank, walking up the pine hills, reaching the top of the mountain and looking at the small village of Lech am Arlberg gave me a deep and exciting feeling of familiarity
Alexandre Reider was born in 1973 in São Paulo (BRA). The Brazilian began to paint at the age of 14. His love for art developed at an early age, with the paintings of his grandfather Georg Reider, from Upper Austria.
From Brazil to Lech am Arlberg
He studied art at the Escola Panamericana de Artes in São Paulo. Afterwards he learned oil painting in a private studio for three years. In 1994 he graduated in communication sciences at the Faculdade de São Paulo. Before devoting himself exclusively to painting, he created numerous illustrative works for advertising agencies.
Now, a few years later, he brings the same foreign and poetic perspective that his grandfather took to the tropics back to the mountains.
Duration of exhibition: until 24 April 2020, during bank opening hours.
