Lecher Literature Days

The next Lecher Literaturtage will take place from 04.09. - 06.09.2020.

Homeland was the theme of the 3rd Lecher Literature Days 2019. Numerous events took place in Lech and Oberlech from 06.09. -08.09.2019.

The “Lecher Literature Days” was created with the aim of breaking away from conventional literary spaces and thus creating a new and extraordinary opportunity to encounter a wide variety of literary forms. Interested guests are offered the opportunity to experience art and nature in an exciting combination. In the midst of the breathtaking mountain landscape in Lech am Arlberg, far away from the stress of everyday life, visitors are encouraged to spend time once again getting involved with texts, language and violence. For the first time, the theme of homeland will also be the subject of a large Poetry Writing Competition statt. The best entries will win great prizes!

The true home is actually the language. It defines the longing for it, and the distance from one's homeland is always the fastest through language.
