Data protection - explanation about duty to provide information (privacy statement)

The protection of your personal data is a special responsibility for us. We therefore process your data only on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG (Telecommunications Act) 2003). In this privacy statement we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website.

Contact with us

If you make contact with us using the form on our website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months in order to process the enquiry and in case there are any follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that, for the purpose of simplifying the booking or purchase process and for the subsequent execution of the contract, the media owner stores the IP data of the connection owner within the scope of cookies, as well as the name, address and possibly the credit card number of the guest.

In addition, the following data will also be stored by us for the purpose of processing the contract: 
Telephone number, e-mail address

The data you provide is necessary to fulfil the contract or to implement pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data will be transferred to third parties, except for the transfer of your data to the respective host or partner, the processing banks/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price and to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations. The last two points only apply if the payment is processed via us. This depends on the respective host or partner.

If the purchasing process is aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).

The data relating to name, address, goods purchased, and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 (3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and Art. 6 (1) a (consent) and/or b (necessary for fulfilment of a contract) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Commissioned data processing

We have concluded an appropriate contract with the provider for commission data processing.

IP anonymization

We use the function "activation of IP anonymization" on this website. In this way your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the area of member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information in order to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and to render further services associated with website use and internet use for the website operator. The IP address transferred from your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be kept together with other data of Google.  

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that users' IP address will be truncated by Google within the area of member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Tracking for personalization 

A cookie is used to show personalized page suggestions. No IP numbers are stored in this process. In the context of the visit to the website the following data is recorded via a pixel which is embedded in every website:

  • internal ID of the viewed page,
  • attributes of the viewed page,
  • categories of the viewed page.

This data will not be disclosed.

Social media cookies

Social media plug-ins are integrated into the pages of Lech-Zürs Tourismus GmbH to make it possible to recommend and share articles in social networks, e.g. Facebook and Twitter. We use a two-stage procedure for this. Data is only transferred to third parties when users click on one of the icons shown in the social media bar. The media owner has no influence on cookies placed by Facebook, Twitter etc., and Lech-Zürs Tourismus GmbH has not access to them.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this purpose we will require your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.

To provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process information provided on a voluntary basis about areas of interest and further data. Provision of this information is voluntary and it is not essential in order to receive the newsletter.

As soon as you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your subscription.
